BMX Weekly - White

The Higginson family played a pivotal role in shaping early British BMX media. In 1981, Martin Higginson began working on BMX News, but when funding ended, his father Arnold stepped in to finance a new publication — BMX Weekly. Martin led the editorial, Nigel contributed photos and articles, Marjorie managed the accounts, and Jonathan raced for the brand.

BMX Weekly evolved from a newspaper into a bi-weekly magazine, reaching over 46,000 copies at its peak. In 2023, the Higginson family was inducted into the British BMX Hall of Fame and gave their blessing for the revival of BMX Weekly— and of course, the original BMX Weekly logo — through BMXWeekly.com, the BMX Weekly Podcast, and its social media channels.
